Plans are under way for the next Taylor Family Reunion2011 will mark the 290th Anniversary of the arrival of Matthew Taylor and Jennet Wilson to America.  They arrived in 1721 and settled in Nutfield, later known as Derry, New Hampshire.

We will be holding this reunion in Derry, New Hampshire to celebrate this historic occassion.

We have booked the Upper Village Hall, in Derry, New Hampshire for the 29th, 30th and 31st of July, which runs into the  August (Canadian holiday) of 2011.

For those seeking accommadations we have booked 10 rooms at the
Sleep Inn located at 72 Perkins Rd., Londonderry, NH 03053
Phone # 1-603-425-2110.
They have given us a reduced rate from $89US+tax to $75US+tax, in order to receive this rate you must reference TAYLOR FAMILY REUNION.
The price includes breakfast in their self serve kitchen area.
There is also a swimming pool, hot tub and a work out room.

Ten rooms were reserved and have now been booked by our guests, however should you still wish to attend, let them know it is for the reunion and they will have a room for you.

To our Canadian relatives, now is a good time to exchange your money into US currency.
Also remember a passport is necessary to cross the border.

What a great opportunity to honour our ancestors. There are many points of interest to see such as:
Forest Hill Cemetery where the gravestones of Matthew  along with sons Adam and Samuel plus his daughter Agnes are still intact,
the Taylor Sawmill,
the Taylor Library
Congregational Church
and the
site where the old homestead was located.

We would like to have your feedback regarding what you think of this idea. All suggestions are most welcome.

If interested in attending, please let us know by going to the RSVP page to pre register.

Still seeking info for the Taylor Book--if you want to have your lineage included, forward us the information with sources if you have them, please.  Also any old photos, include names of who the subjects are and where they were located.
